Metroplex Cavers

Welcome to The Metroplex Cavers Website

This website is the host portal for The National Speleological Society (NSS) grottos in The Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex.  From here you'll find information and links to the local grottos.  There's a calendar of events unique to Metroplex cavers, information on the grottos and pictures from joint events shared by Metroplex Cavers.

The purpose of The Metroplex Cavers website is to enhance communication between the local clubs and help people with an interest in caving find the club closest to them.

Register or login if already registered to add events to the Metroplex calendar yourself.  You may also click the member area button above.  You'll be able to add/edit your calendar events or view contact information for other local cavers (if they've agreed to have their information displayed).  You can still send calendar information to the webmaster.

There are no fees, dues or other cost associated with registering or logging on to this website.  You information is not sold or shared with any entity.  You may choose to share your contact information with other cavers who log into this website.

Support your grotto newsletter

Your grotto newsletter editor is always in need of newsletter articles.  To submit an article to all the local grotto newsletter editors, e-mail it to:  newsletter@metroplexcavers.org.  The article will be forwarded to the current newsletter editor for all grottos.

The All Cavers E-mail list

This website hosts the allcavers@metroplexcavers.org e-mail list.  This list is used to announce trips, parties and other items of interest to Metroplex Cavers.  Each grotto has it's own members only list to discuss internal grotto business.  The only rules are 1) no personal attacks and 2) no profanity.

To join the list:  allcavers-subscribe@metroplexcavers.org you will be sent a confirmation e-mail that you must reply to confirming you are the one signing your e-mail up for the subscription.  Once you have confirmed your subscription request, the list moderator will approve your subscription.

To leave the list:  allcavers-unsubscribe@metroplexcavers.org you'll will receive a confirmation e-mail to reply to that it's you actually unsubscribing to the list.  Once you reply, you'll be removed immediately.
